Accumulating Junk

Daily Prompt: Clean House
Is there “junk” in your life? What kind? How do you get rid of it?
Show JUNK

Junk is what I accumulate, adding to it in bits and piles
My husband used to be mad at me, it spread for miles

Someday I would try to remove, things I kept hoarding for years
Would sit to the task, would get up and leave it for another year

It’s sorry state of affairs, removing junk I can’t do
Woe betide me, if I throw away one thing
Next day It will be the one thing I need to

Hoarder by nature, would like to change, it’s difficult for me
The leopard may change it’s spots, I can’t change the hoarder me

Should find a way and stop excusing
Throw away the junk and do some removing
That will be the ‘New’ me
