Daily Prompt: Tell about your favorite meal, either to eat or to prepare. Does it just taste great, or does it have other associations?
Nowadays my favorite is a salad called, “Four Beans Salad”.
Salads are easy to make and great to eat. Salads are tempting to look at and a nice way of reducing weight. The four beans salad is easy to prepare.
1/2 Cup Oil, canola or olive
1/2 Cup Vinegar
3/4 Cup Sugar
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Black Pepper
16 oz tins of 4 different beans, drained and washed with cold water, drained
3/4 Cup Celery
3/4 Cup green, and red Bell Pepper
3/4 Cup diced Cucumber
1 red Onion diced
Mix dressing. Add beans. Refrigerate. Add a hand full of Peanuts when you are going to eat.
There it is ready to eat, but if you can wait for 2-3 hours it tastes better.
