Irresistible

Tell about the favorite dish or food that you simply cannot turn down.

My favorites are chocolates, ice creams and desserts. I can’t turn them down.

I am drawn to them as an iron to a magnet. Their pull is irresistible for me. If chocolates are in front of me my hands itch to get them. I can never say no to having them.

At home my simple rule to keep away from them is not to purchase them or make them. That way I try to resist their pull on me.

Diabetes run in my family. To keep myself safe I shun things sweet.

The only exception to the rule are chocolates.

I keep them in the freezer. That way they are not in the same room with me to get tempted by them. I only buy Hershey’s nuggets. I just have two per day. I savor them with small bites to last them in my mouth for a little while longer.

I enjoy the little things in my life so that when I look back later on I shouldn’t feel sorry.
