One Eighty Degrees

I was always told ladies don’t eat on the streets. Just once I slipped up. The temperature was in the nineties. I had been going from one shop to another, and I still needed one or two items more.

Just to feel cool I bought two cones. I should have stayed in the shop to have it, but I didn’t. I came out, and handed one to my driver. I was getting looks from the passerbys. You don’t see a woman in a chador trying to lick her cone ice cream in the streets of Peshawar. It was terribly un-ladylike. Just to think of it I feel embarrassed. šŸ˜•
