Wow! This is sad and beautiful. Thank you for sharing and I can relate to this is a way and it is a relief knowing I am not alone. I hope you figure everything out and are able to start looking up (but that is so much easier said than done).

I think they are Asters though I can’t be sure. I was in a hurry to choose something. Their lovely bright color attracted me.
