When we were young, we were frightened by a specter of a bogey man, who could snatch us away, if we weren’t going to behave ourselves. Nowadays, when I look at photos of criminals– men, or women, I am taken aback by their faces. Faces — which doesn’t show the dark side of their nature. It has become harder to know who is the savage among us.
