A Typical Day

.

Sitting at a seaside. That’s is me.

A typical day may not be the same as yours

Beginning with prayer, and ending with prayer

And finally my bed.

It’s indeed a blessing to get into bed, and sleep

Typical

It is found in the Sahih hadiths (authentic narrations from the Prophet sal ALLAHu ‘alayHi wa sallam).

It was narrated from ‘Abd-Allaah ibn ‘Umar (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Those who make images will be punished on the Day of Resurrection, and it will be said to them: ‘Bring to life that which you have created.’”
        Narrated by al-Bukhaari (5607) and Muslim (2108).

It was narrated that ‘Aa’ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her) said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “The people who will be most severely punished on the Day of Resurrection will be those who imitate the creation of Allaah.”
        Narrated by al-Bukhaari (5610) and Muslim (2107)

According to scholars, there are 2 types of images, the 1st category is of animate beings and the 2nd is of inanimate beings. It is totally haraam to draw animate beings except if it is for necessary purposes, such as drawing the picture of a criminal so that he can be found, or for educational purposes like anatomy. Similarly, statues, toys and dolls with clear and full facial features such as the eyes and nose are also forbidden and the angels do not enter a home with such objects until they are removed.

The 2nd category of images of inanimate beings consists of trees, flowers, scenery, lifeless objects etc. It is not a sin to draw these things or make models of them.

The whole point being that it is a sin to try and remake the creation of ALLAH SoubhaanaHou wa ta’Aala that has souls.

      2. Thank you for giving me the details. Sorry to say but my feelings about the Hadith are mixed, as some of them maybe false, and they have generated lots of controversy about Islam.
