Fireside Chat

What person whom you don’t know very well in real life — it could be a blogger whose writing you enjoy, a friend you just recently made, etc. — would you like to have over for a long chat in which they tell you their life story?

I would love to meet those famous personalities whom I admire, and those writers, whose writings I adore. I know this much that when I meet any of them, I would be happy beyond words. I am sure I would be doubting the reality of it.

I don’t know which personality I would be at that moment. The outgoing one! Laughing, and full of words, or the other one —– shy, awkward, and tongue tied?

Most of my life, I used to think, the trouble lay with me. One night, out walking I confided it to my son. I told him, how different I was at separate occasions. It was baffling.

He said, “no, it’s not you, but the people you meet. They are the ones, who draw out the different you”.
