Lines that are buried deep into my hand
What do they show?
Future, past or present
What should I know?
Are they the shadowy remains of a past that is dead
Or harbingers of a future ahead?

Write a new post in response to today’s one-word prompt.
I live in the present not knowing what the future holds
Having no answers I leave everything to God
Thinking of good things pushing worries aside
Hoping eventually they will be solved
God is Great, God is Merciful.
Six of One, Half a Dozen of the Other

Is there a period in your own personal life that you think of as the good old days? Tell us a story about those innocent and/or exciting times (or lack thereof).
Daily Prompt: Advantage of Foresight
You’ve been granted the power to predict the future! The catch — each time you use your power, it costs you one day (as in, you’ll live one day less). How would you use this power, it at all?
The first thing I will try to find out is how long I am going to live. If I am going to have a long life, say 10-20 years of my life lost, it won’t matter to me.
I will try to use my power wisely, and based on future I will be making the right decisions for myself, and others as well.
If say I have only a year to live, I will spend my limited days in more prayers. Currently I only say my prayers five times a day.
I will try to notch up my good deeds with the bell tolling over my head.
One doesn’t know (power or no power) that the breath one takes, maybe it is the last one.
