As a kid, you must have imagined what it was like to be an adult. Now that you’re a grown up (or becoming one), how far off was your idea of adult life?
From being a child to an adult, life gets changed
And the world of carefree is suddenly gone
Nothing magical remains, harsh realities take over
You leave your dreams, and they too are gone
Now where once was I, in a meadow green
It’s sand and desert, even the mirage is gone
