Fruit Yogurt Ice Cream

Daily Prompt: Flavor#32
A local ice cream parlor invites you to create a new wacky flavor. It needs to channel the very essence of your personality. What’s in it?

Oooooooh! My kind of ice cream. That will be fun.

Ice cream is one thing which I can’t resist. I confess I don’t have an iron will. It’s better to stay away from sugary things. I do give in to temptation occasionally. Diabetes run in the family. My mother had it, and my two brothers. Knowing sugar is not good for me (I avoid it), I have tea without sugar. When I make any dessert I add the minimum amount to it.

If a parlor wanted to cater to my taste, I would like the ice cream to be made with yogurt, fruit, nuts and praline (for the crunchy taste).

It is easy to make. Take yogurt (I eat yogurt made at home), nuts (walnuts, almonds), mixed fruit (strawberries, pineapple, mango, bananas, peach, apricots, whatever you prefer), and praline. Mix and put it in a freezer. That’s it.

For children add cream and sugar. Make the ice cream in an ice cream maker. Once made leave it in the freezer till it is required.
