Facade

I don’t have a facade. You can straight away guess how I am feeling. My facade–sorry my face is completely transparent.

If I am feeling apprehensive, my eyes and face show what I am under going. I was coming back to Houston the previous Saturday. Waiting to board my third plane the same day, I was truly hassled, and tired. Before I knew two women (one black, one white), asked me, “Are you okay? Do you need any help?”

These women were strangers, but they could tell. You can understand my predicament when I want to keep something from my children. Same was the case with my late husband. They are relentless till they find out what’s bothering me.

I wish my face wasn’t so expressive! Sometimes one doesn’t want to disclose the inner feelings.
